How to Buy Online

How do I place my first order online?

Browse the site or use the search tool in the top right hand corner to find what you’re looking for. Once you have located the item you want to buy, click on the ‘Add to Cart’ button and follow the steps. First, you will have to create an account with Toys”R”Us so we remember your information for next time.

Shop Online in 4 easy steps:

  1. Log in or create an account: Either log in using your account and password or create an account using your email address.
  2. Give your details: if you don’t already have an account we will need your email address, phone number and delivery details. Don’t forget you can supply different billing and shipping addresses. Your account will store this information to make the process quicker next time.
  3. Payment: This step will require you to enter your preferred payment method. Either via credit card or PayPal.
  4. Order Confirmation: Once your payment has been confirmed you will be directed to a page with your order confirmation number and order summary. This information will also be emailed to you so you have a copy. Once your order has been shipped you will receive another email notifying you of this. This email will also contain a tracking number and link that you can click on to see the status of your order.

How do I track my order?

All your order history will be stored in the ‘My account’ section of the website. Simply log in with your email and password to check your account.

Will I get a tax invoice?

Your order summary and invoice will be emailed to you.

How do I know when my order will arrive?

Your order will take between 2 and 7 working days depending on where you live. You can see the full estimated delivery schedule for all items on our Delivery and Charges page here. You can also track the progress of your order when logged in to your account.

Changing or cancelling an online order?

Once an order has been submitted any changes to the order i.e. adding additional items or removing items are not permitted. A new order will need to be placed for any changes to be added or items removed.

You may cancel your order up until it is currently being processed. You can do this by logging in to your account and clicking ‘Cancel’ next to the order you wish to cancel. We will send an email confirming the order cancellation and refund will be processed. If you no longer see the ‘Cancel’ icon next to your order it means your order is currently being processed and we are not able to cancel your order.

If you want to cancel your order but it has already been processed, you may still be able to return the product. Please contact us.

Can I return an item I bought online?

If you change your mind we accept refunds so long as the item is in the original packaging and you have a copy of the order confirmation email or packing slip. You can return to toysrus.com.au by contacting customer service (please note a restocking fee may be charged for large items) or you can return to any Toys”R”Us store.
